Bonnie Scotland ( 1935 ). The above daybill is currently being advertised on ebay as being C1945. I am fairly sure is is from a 1953 Australian re-release. I haven't definite proof but is certainly looks 1950's and not 1940's. If you are thinking of acquiring it take note.

A new listing on eBay for a U.K. Quad of House of Frankenstein ( 1944). Advertised as an original poster with a price of 900 pounds U.K. ( $ 1,566.87 Australian ). What it should have said is '' an original re-release poster of House Of Frankenstein ( 1944 )''.

Problem is that there is no way to accurately maintain chain of ownership or change in condition once the ID is made.
Only way to do this is to conceal the image and slab it - which defeats the purpose in some ways.
Plus I’m not sure I want people to know which movie posters I have.
One of the biggest collectors has a full database of his posters online and he continually fights off offers.

Also, I think Americans want too much restoration. I prefer the European approach or conservation based restoration.
