Re: Looking for a Truly Professional Database Solution (Post-iCollect Disaster)
i have an Excel file for my collection, obviously without images. I don't always keep it up to date, but it's helpful to track things.

You can look at this. It was recommended to me a while back but I never looked into it...I know nothing about it really and havent tried it but I believe it was done by other collectors/dealers...there are costs associated, but you might want to take a look?

Re: James Steward: A Poster and ist story. MR. HOBBS Takes A Vacation
Love this post...the poster oddities as I like to call them, are one of my favourite things about collecting.
Love me a good Polish poster, such great and unique takes on the film
Great film too, definately worth a rewatch

Re: Rare Australian Posters Of Australian Films
I've had some lobbies from the 2000s so I guess still printing.
Re: Buyer Beware!
I recently had an odd experience, where I questioned a seller about the date of their poster.Bruce said:The reason sellers routinely mis-represent posters as to release is partly ignorance, and partly greed. If they make the sale, next-to-none will take returns for mistakes. They say, "you should have done your homework".
They got offended that I asked and said it was my job to work it out (I am paraphrasing - but essentially this is what was implied).
Bottom line is people dont care, either dont know or want maximum $ they can get by misrepresenting.
ebay has become the last resort for purchases these days.
Re: 24 sheet Poster in 6 pieces
I have posted my 24 sheet here from the movie The Alamo. Heritage has called this the holy grail of 24 sheets.
