Re: 2001: A Space Odyssey 40x60 McCall – Genuine 1968 Original Paper or “Just” R-1971? Need Your Expert
I won! Heritage changed it, and now it’s the 1968 issue again. So cool! Bruce was right, and so was I. I won it for $475 (including buyer’s premium). But the URL still says “R-1971,” which is obviously wrong.
Re: Rare Australian Posters Of Australian Films
There are a fair amount in Spanish, and a lot of the recent lobbies (in English and Spanish) are sent to me from South America, so that is one place that still uses them.theartofmovieposters said:I've had some lobbies from the 2000s so I guess still printing.

Re: New Members, Please Introduce Yourself!
Hey All, this is Dave near Philadelphia. I’m new to the movie poster arena and am pleased to have found this forum.
I have been buying things at auction and selling on eBay for about 2 years. Seemed like a good idea when I started, although it’s kind of taken over my house and my life!
In any case, along the way I’ve picked up several movie posters - Gaslight was my first; Tomb of Ligeia; Monster on the Campus - French & German version; Tea & Sympathy; Brazil; Bus Stop (French = “Arrete d’Autobus” may be amusing - yet Marilyn remains striking); Lost in Alaska (Abbott & Costello); etc. And a slew a lobby cards. And some photo plays. In other words, a hodgepodge! Partly driven by nostalgia, some by a vague sense of investment. Mostly having fun.

I look forward to the communication and sharing here. I’m always curious to learn more!

Re: Beginning Discussion - Following Charlie's Path
Very interesting information, I am glad I was able to restore back to its original condition.

Re: Yeah, so, I am watching this..,
It would be great to own all of those box sets. The Powell & Pressburger set has some top titles, but it doesn't contain my favourite film of theirs I Know Where I'm Going. Just love this film and always fondly remember the beautiful version of the title song sung briefly at the end of the film. For anyone who may not have viewed this film I do thoroughly recommend for you to check it out.

Re: The Horror Quiz
O.k. time is up for the 341 answer to be revealed to be Doctor Blood's Coffin from 1961. Surprised indeed that from my Hazel Court clues that the answer wasn't found.

Re: Questions for Bruce-EMP
I do not have a question, but did want to share. I just bought this recently off your site, and restored it, it looks great for a poster that was in rough shape.

Thanks
