Re: Rare Australian Posters Of Australian Films
Nice find! Thanks for sharing. On the Eureka Stockade (1949), I bought many years ago a photo album which was taken by one film staff of photos behind the scene. I have it search for the album - somewhere in my storage.

(NFSA)An extremely rare Australian glass lantern slide produced for the 1915 Australian silent film The Loyal Rebel. The film was based on the Eureka Rebellion that was started by gold miners against authorities in 1854 at Ballarat Victoria Australia.
There was also a later film made on the subject tilled Eureka Stockade (1949) that was included here on this thread in November 2023.

Re: Hondo's This And That
I'm still catching up on topic from a few posts ago...I'll respond when I have a moment, about to jump on a plane for an overseas holiday. I have thoughts....
Re: Happy 2026! (Jan-Feb-March-April)
I have a soft spot for those poorly drawn australian posters.
This time the artist DID nail it with the likeness of the actor.
Screamtime if fun. Poor lass had all five spooks AT THE SAME TIME!

In my introduction to the group, I mentioned a large purchase of folded one-sheets from a collector here in the Seattle area. Here's a few of the hundreds just to give an overview of the sort of stuff I was able to score. Sorry for the sloppy photos, but the actual "ready for sale" photos are one of the projects on the list for 2026/7, so I can begin putting them into my eBay store....
One quick question: I have (2) of the Jaws poster, both in similar condition. Should I look into restoration & backing if I want to get the most return? Or is that something that wouldn't bring enough of a return to justify the expenditure?
Mikel

ing them on my eBay store at some point in the near future.
Anything of particular interest?

Re: Rare Australian Posters Of Australian Films
An original rare Australian long daybill from 1927.

( Everyones/Trove)
The above cinema display image shows some extra size poster Australian artwork that was produced for The Kid Stakes. It is a pity though that the image isn't much clearer to see.

(acmi)An extremely rare Australian daybill film poster image of Steel Saga from 1960. The film was a documentary short film running 29:30 minutes. This film covered the steel production history at Port Kembla N.S.W. up to the time when the film was made. A note that this image had been ptrvious here on another forum thread in April 2019, but also needs to be included here as well.

Re: The Science Fiction Quiz
Thanks then Bruce for your reason for not contributing here in recent times. More entries from the 1950's and 1960's (little product produce before then) will be presented here in the future, starting with the next up two. By the way the yet unanswered 249 is from the 1950s.Bruce said:I was just thinking about this. In my case it is that you seem to have moved more to 1970s on movies, which I am just not very familiar with at all.
