Re: Poster Developing Country Germany
The main one I was thinking about is https://www.filmposter.net/en/info/meet-the-owner.html
There is a lobby card dealer on eBay. I just got a set of cards from The Pledge. I recently picked up a prop.
Let me dig that contact out.

Re: Is This Forum Still Alive — or Just Archived?
Grok says you are full of new collector energy - which happened to this 46 year old about 15-20
years ago. Most of us have seen almost every type of post and question. We probably have already collected 90% of the material we wanted to collect (within our own fiscal constraints)…

It’s great you have energy and I love it! Gives me something to look forward to when logging in.
Plus there are personalities on here and some clash.

Bottom line is keep at it! We need the boost.

It's not a huge forum, and I'm not much of a talker in real life or on forums, but we keen chugging along. It's nice to see some new enthusiasm here.

Re: Let's Wake the Sleeping Giant: Ideas for Making Vintage Movie Posters Famous
Problem is that there is no way to accurately maintain chain of ownership or change in condition once the ID is made.
Only way to do this is to conceal the image and slab it - which defeats the purpose in some ways.
Plus I’m not sure I want people to know which movie posters I have.
One of the biggest collectors has a full database of his posters online and he continually fights off offers.

Also, I think Americans want too much restoration. I prefer the European approach or conservation based restoration.
Alright - I am at Disney - Got to go.

Re: Yeah, so, I am watching this..,
I had my first IMAX experience to see EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert. People stood and cheered at the end and applauded several songs along the way. It takes a lot to make Elvis fans happy, but they are with this film.
