I also agree with John that it was overall an interesting and praiseworthy look into the history of posters, particularly Australian daybills. The whole project from start to finish would certainly have taken a very long period of time to complete it. I do appreciate from the video now being able to see a number of rare daybill posters that I had never previously sighted. As John had mentioned a lot of time and effort went into compiling the video, so top marks from me for that.
John mentions that there are some fairly minor errors in the video. The reason that I mentioned mistakes that do appear in the video is because I am a stickler for authenticity in anything related to film posters,

Just a final comment from me on the YouTube Video. Firstly, I had no involvement at all in the video and I only posted the link because I thought other collectors might find it of interest. The person who produced the video kindly contacted me to ask if he could use some of my images of artists signature's and I was happy to agree to that. There are certainly some fairly minor errors but I thought it was well produced and it was good to see some images of printing, and some daybills etc that I had never seen before. It must have taken a lot of time and effort to put it all together and I certainly enjoyed seeing it.

Let me clarify...I understand the image and art is existing but the "Not Suitable" addition always seemed made up to me.

I have just come across a list of the top 50 Australian films of all time that was published in The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age Australian newspapers on April 29, 2026, being only three days ago. The list was selected by 24 experts, including directors, critics and curators The number one film selected was Samson & Deliah.

Mary Spicer then known as Mary Kimber had performed in the U.K. during the 1940s and 1950s and possibly 1960s., in mainly repertory theatre, where she had worked with the likes of Paul Scofield. Mary also performed in an unsuccessful run of only seven performances of the J.B. Mary's husband John was an actor originally from England as well as Mary where he also acted on stage. In Australia he headed an amateur theatrical company that I was involved in as an actor, where many of his directed plays won awards. As well as directing the majority of the companies plays he also acted in some of them as well. John also appeared in a number of theatrical films and television series where he had small roles including those in Emoh Ruo, The Flying Doctors and A Country Practice.
Both Mary and John were very talented people.

K, here is the original artwork for the one sheet...artist Ian McCausland. This is not what the final looked like, but that art is on it.
I do know what the final one sheet looked like, but I am not allowed to share it...sorry.
