Re: Hondo's Daybill and One Sheet Q&A [Re-Titled]
Exactly my thinking, and that is why I had originally asked if anyone had the original daybill. To sight an original daybill or daybills, and a press sheet would be of great assistance.dedeposter said:I'd like to know if this was actually produced as a daybill for theatres. Any evidence? The article says it was produced as a poster, but was it used in theatres?

Re: The Horror Quiz
O.k. time to reveal the answer for 284 to be Chamber Of Horrors from 1966. Firstly I would like to mention that Dark Intruder suggested earlier by Peter does resemble Chamber Of Horrors in many ways.
An interesting fact is that there was also an obscure early British silent horror film from 1929 titled Chamber of Horrors. This film is partly set in a wax museum. Unfortunately no posters or scenes from this film can be located.

Re: Hondo's This And That
I believe the poster was printed, including the W.E.Smith credit at the same time as the rest of the poster.. A real mystery this one..theartofmovieposters said:Is it possible they had left over paper? Though I would have assumed the printer credit was done at the same time as the rest.

You nailed it Ves.theartofmovieposters said:The printer?
My curiosity in the poster is indeed in the printer's credit being that of W.E.Smith Limited, Sydney.
W.E. Smith ceased printing film posters in 1960, and the Jigsaw poster was printed for a September 20, 1963 Australian cinema release, which is around three years after this cessation of their film poster painting.
Any comments regarding this information will be welcomed.

I haven't sighted an Australian pressbook, but one certainly would be great to check out though.dedeposter said:Looking forward to it, was there a press book available?
A delay in presenting part three, but awaiting a better image copy to be sorted out.
