Hostiles ( 2017 ) is a very violent, but very well told tale of the early American period the film depicts and I highly recommend it. Christian Bale has never been better, Rosamund Pike, who I didn't know before this is excellent, as is of course Wes Studi, whose performance as Magua in The Last Of The Mohicans blew me away when I first saw it years ago. My only very minor criticism is that at times some of the dialogue spoken by a few of the characters is a little hard to understand as to what exactly they are saying. The copy that I viewed was from the U.S.A. as the film doesn't appear to be having a theatrical release, at least at this time, in Australia. I just had to share these poster images with you, particularly the first and the third ones that are, for modern posters, through my eyes at least are impressive. The poster image in between these two show three excellent reviews for the film, although the bottom one is hard to read in this image. It says '' Pike and Bale gave outstanding performances - among the best this year''.

@ Charlie. I walked away from the poster for 2 seconds. Then I thought Matias would kill me if I didn't buy it.
And the process of thought had nothing to do with boobies and the lack of Sarli in the Antique store.

Yeah, I was introduced to Shelley Winters via The Poseidon Adventure. That's a distinctly different SW than Playgirl, South Sea Sinner, etc! Hubba hubba!

depends. In other facebook groups, opening it up seems to go hand in hand with dumbing it down. Not only that, but without strict moderation, it ends up becoming another screaming match.Bruce said:Why not consider going the other way and simply convert this forum into a Facebook group?

The original Australian versions looking neat. Mark ( Eisenhower ) summed it up in that the placement of the ratings is poor at times. I like the Doris a Day though - rather cute. The reason I had asked my questions was to see if other members agreed with my thoughts.
This Mother, Jugs & Speed ( 1976 ) daybill is one of the worse examples of New Zealand censorship where the R rating stamp has been applied, without enough ink, in a hurry and appears without care. I believe the stamping took place at the distributor's premises before being sent out to the exhibitors and there was a person or persons sitting at a table with stacks of different titles to stamp. If you have done any stamping yourself, you would know that after a while it becomes a little boring and you just want it to end sooner than later. Therefore less attention is paid to applying the placing of the stamp and with the ink replacement, and all one wants to do is get the job at hand over with as soon as possible, so the process is speeded up somewhat and less care is taken. I know which of the above two examples I prefer.
