Re: Rare and unusual posters that are not wall worthy.
Because there are three owners who pay for the site and none of them is called Zuckerburg, donate to the cause or use a free photo hosting service.HONDO said:darolo said:Bruce is right, I've noticed on some threads there is no inserting an image, only the image URL option.
It happens on a reasonable number of threads that this is the case.
OR if the image is hosted already on the internet, right click the image, click 'Copy Image', then come in here and right click/paste.

Re: Wil's under house find

The Hockey Champ ( 1939 ) is another Donald Duck long daybill. Posters of this type are very few in number it appears.

Ha ha. What makes things worse is the fact that the poster was originally a long daybill, and who knows if a rare Donald Duck title was originally printed on It.collectahollic said:A crying shame Donald Duck was missing his legs (must have upset Pluto!)

The 48RR is lovely, sadly none of those appeared yesterday.

Re: Wil's under house find
King Kong, The Outlaw, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs and the other Disneys, along with the Richardson Studio titles are great and I also like the rare film noir title The Lone Wolf In Mexico. You must be still smiling.collectahollic said:Thanks Lawrence, funnily enough I thought you'd like some of those. The Disney and full bleed titles I was mighty pleased with, plus throw in the kongs and Outlaw and it was worth the three flights over 2 weeks.HONDO said:
The Son Of Frankenstein mishmash was originally The Spider ( 1945 ), as seen above.
Great find. A half a dozen of the daybills I haven't seen before, and a very rare one that I will talk about soon.

Correct and well spotted Matt. Wake Island released in 1942. Nice to have the correct answer from the proud owner of this great rare daybill.
