One day they HAVE to surface. Can't say I've seen crapload of Hour Before the Dawn Aussie OS on the market over the years!CSM_2_Point_0 said:Well I replaced my stolen Hour Before the Dawn Aussie with a US OS. Now I have replaced my stolen Lost Weekend US OS with an Aussie. Maybe it balances out somehow
Great that you went after and picked up another copy of this one (better Aussie version too

HONDO: Hey, thanks for sharing that. I'm glad they used the same cheesy poster art, but too bad it wasn't in full color. It loses a lot not being in color. Thanks for visiting the thread. CHEERS!HONDO said:
Just in case you may not have seen it before, an image of a rare Australian daybill that used the original U.S.A, artwork Blood is shown but it is only displayed in black and not red, which makes it less effective..
rockabilly777: Ha! Thank you for such an enthusiastic response. Jeepers! So far, all of this that I've posted is just within the confines of my bedroom. Ha! There's a LOT more wall space available. Stay tuned. CHEERS!rockabilly777 said:Monstrously awesome! Sleeze-tastically spectacular! An avalanche of B movie confectionary! Props and masks and posters on walls - oh my!! Well curated and displayed! Build more walls! Hang more stuff! POST MORE PICS!!

210 is one of the finest "thinking person's" sci-fi movies, When Worlds Collide. Excellent special effects too!

Re: Rockabilly's poster collection
Thanks as always, MAGG-a-blood spattered tiki god! (filmed, of course in thrilling stereoscopic shriek-o-vision)
Yeah, no shame here. I know there's a significant chunk of our population who are deeply closeted appreciators of automotive culture relics of days past. I'm just here to help out and feed their need. Lurk if they must, but I'm happy to provide the service.
I have waaaaaaaay too many posters of all kinds already, but until I can shake the disease (as our pals in Depeche Mode would say), I suppose I'll keep filling the many voids in life with purchases of posters and other associated trinketry.

A-ha! THAT name I most certainly DO recognize. It is wonderful to know there are a few females in the hobby as well. I've only known one thus far. I wonder why that is...

Re: Questions for Bruce-EMP
There is an old stock market expression, when people ask "Why did the stock market rise a lot today?". Some people launch into explanations about various kinds of good news that came out that caused the rise, but a more precise answer is "There were more buyers than sellers that day".
Similarly, I think you can look too deeply for answers as to why posters for the Carry On... films sell for what they do, when actually it is more a case of there being two (or three or four) people who value them that highly.
A similar situation exists with posters and lobby cards from Columbia comedy shorts of the 1930s and 1940s. The vast majority of them sell for very little, even though they are incredibly rare. But those from the Three Stooges shorts sell for fortunes. Are the Stooges THAT much better than their fellow comedians, or is it just that the top Stooge collectors have far more spendable money?
Or look at Star Wars vs Star Trek. Star Wars posters go for giant money, Star Trek almost nothing. Is Star Wars vastly superior to Star Trek, or is it just the relative disposable income of their fans?
Sometimes one or two giant collectors in an area can make it seem like something is far more "collectible" than it actually is.

Actually, looks like it's the Fourth Printing.
Isn't mine a 4th print? It makes no mention of "one sheet - Style A"
